If these tools are active, your personal data can be transferred to these third countries and processed there. For example, US companies are obliged to release personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) will process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data - apart from their storage - may only be processed with your consent or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a member state.

Facebook

Elements of the social network Facebook are integrated into this website. The provider of this service is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland. However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

You can find an overview of the Facebook social media elements here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/?locale=de_DE.

If the social media element is active, a direct connection is established between your device and the Facebook server. Facebook therefore receives the information that you have visited this website using your IP address. If you click the Facebook "Like" button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of this website to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to assign the visit to this website to your user account. We would like to point out that as the provider of the pages we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook's privacy policy at: https://de-de.facebook.com/privacy/explanation.

If consent has been obtained, the use of the above-mentioned service is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time. If no consent has been obtained, the service is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in the most comprehensive possible visibility in social media.

If personal data is collected on our website using the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its forwarding to Facebook. The processing by Facebook after forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent upon us jointly have been recorded in a joint processing agreement. The wording of the agreement can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for implementing the tool on our website in a way that complies with data protection law. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) with regard to the data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert your data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Details can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendumhttps://de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381 and https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

5. Tools and plugins

Cookiebot

We use the consent management service Cookiebot, provided by Cybot A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark (Cybot). This enables us to obtain and manage the consent of website users to data processing. The processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation (Art. 7 Para. 1 GDPR) to which we are subject (Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR). For this purpose, the following data is processed with the help of cookies:
Your IP address (the last three digits are set to '0'). Date and time of consent. Browser information URL from which the consent was sent. An anonymous, random and encrypted key Your end user consent status, as proofof consent
The key and consent status are stored for 12 months in the browser using the "CookieConsent" cookie. This means that your cookie preference is retained for subsequent page requests. The key can be used to prove and track your consent.
If you activate the "Collective Consent" service function to enable consent for multiple websites through a single end-user consent, the service also stores a separate, random, unique ID with your consent. If all of the following criteria are met, this key is stored in encrypted form in the third-party cookie "CookieConsentBulkTicket" in your browser: You activate the collective consent function in the service configuration. You allow third-party cookies via browser settings. You have deactivated "Do Not Track" via browser settings. You accept all or at least certain types of cookies when you give consent. The functionality of the website cannot be guaranteed without processing.
Cybot is the recipient of your personal data and acts as a processor for us.
The processing takes place in the European Union. Further information on objection and removal options against Cybot can be found at: https://www.cookiebot.com/de/privacy-policy/
Your personal data will be deleted continuously after 12 months or immediately after termination of the contract between us and Cybot.
Please note our general information on the deletion and deactivation of cookies above.

Google Analytics

We use the analysis tracking tool Google Analytics (GA) from the American company Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on our website. Google Analytics collects data about your actions on our website. For example, if you click on a link, this action is saved in a cookie and sent to Google Analytics. With the help of the reports we receive from Google Analytics, we can better adapt our website and our service to your needs. Below we will go into more detail about the tracking tool and inform you in particular about which data is stored and how you can prevent this.

Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) for our website. This Tag Manager is one of many helpful marketing products from Google. Using the Google Tag Manager, we can centrally integrate and manage code sections from various tracking tools that we use on our website. The Tag Manager itself is a domain that does not set cookies and does not store any data. It acts as a mere "administrator" of the implemented tags. The data is recorded by the individual tags of the various web analysis tools. In the Google Tag Manager, the data is essentially passed on to the individual tracking tools and is not saved.

The situation is completely different, however, with the tags integrated in the various web analysis tools, such as Google Analytics. Depending on the analysis tool, various data about your web behavior is usually collected, saved and processed with the help of cookies. Please read our privacy policy for the individual analysis and tracking tools that we use on our website.

In the account settings of the Tag Manager, we have allowed Google to receive anonymized data from us. However, this only concerns the use and utilization of our Tag Manager and not your data that is saved via the code sections. We enable Google and others to receive selected data in anonymized form. We therefore agree to the anonymous sharing of our website data. Despite extensive research, we were unable to find out exactly which summarized and anonymous data is passed on. In any case, Google deletes all information that could identify our website. Google summarizes the data with hundreds of other anonymous website data and creates user trends as part of benchmarking measures. Benchmarking involves comparing your own results with those of competitors. Processes can be optimized based on the information collected.
